Instant homemade idli mix flour recipe made with rice flour, urad dal and poha (flattened rice).

As it's name suggests Instant Idli Mix Powder is a ready preparation for instant idli making. This product is required in every kitchen and save lots of time 
specialy for working person. This powder is a mixture of various pulses. Before cooking, prepare batter of this idli powder mixture with the help of sour curd 
and water or add eno for immediate result, avoid using baking soda but in case of non availibility of eno you can use baking soda.To get good result leave it for 
5-6 hours for fermantation and for its better output and taste.
 

To prepare the idli from 1 cup of idli mix flour, use the following proportions:

1 cup of homemade idli mix flour,¼ cup sour curd, ⅔ to ¾ cup water to make a thick flowing batter, ½ teaspoon fruit salt or eno for immediate result

First mix idli mix flour, water and sour curd very well. Make a smooth lump free batter. Then add ½ teaspoon fruit salt or eno. Again mix it very well. Then pour it 
in greased idli pan and steam the idlis for 10 to 12 minutes.
